12 - Member Login - Membership

Transfer of Membership(OLD

 We will only accept a transfer of membership subject to completion of the following:

  • Submission of a written authorization of such transfer by the membership holder,
    including transaction price.
  • Payment of the applicable transfer fee.
  • Return of the original debenture (for debenture members)
  • Return of all membership cards including supplementary cards.
  • Clearance of all accounts.
  • Removal of all articles in your locker(s) and return of locker key(s). Failure to
    return all keys (2 for each locker) will result in a replacement fee of $350 for each
    locker.
  • Removal of all golf clubs kept in Club storage.
  • If necessary, money stake-hold service is available from the Club.  A written Agreement, the "Declaration and Authorization for Stakemoney" must be fully completed in set of 3 copies and jointly signed by the Transferor and Transferee for submission to the Club.  After verification, the Club will sign and return duplicates to both parties for retention.  Samples (Corporate or Full membership) and templates (Corporate or Full membership) of this can be downloaded here.
  • New members must provide their valid handicap certificate for golfing privileges upon joining the club. Handicap restrictions apply on Saturday afternoon sessions and public holiday morning sessions. Members (including thier guests) who wish to tee off during these periods must hold a valid handicap index which must not exceed 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

When the above items are settled, we shall proceed with the transfer of membership. Please note that Full Membership must be transferred to an individual whilst Company Membership must be transferred to a limited company registered in Hong Kong.

Furthermore, the proposed new member must fill out an application form which can be obtained from our Membership Department or Reception Counter, and return it with one passport size photo and one copy of I.D./passport. For Company Membership, a true copy of the Hong Kong Business Registration Certificate together with an authorized letter stating that the nominee is a bona fide company employee/director are required. Copy of marriage certificate is required for application of spouse membership card, and copy of children birth certificate for application of child card.
