AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE TEE TIME RESERVATION SYSTEM 

Discovery Bay Golf Club's tee time reservation system is completely computer-operated and is able to handle a mass volume of calls at the same time.

Each Member of the Club will be assigned with a set of Booking Number and PIN to access this system for tee time reservations.  When you make a call to 2987-2112 and key in your set of numbers, the system will allow you to Make, Change, Cancel or Check-on a tee time reservation.  It will also allow you to Change your PIN.

For non-members, the system will only allow maximum 1 day in advance of reservation for Monday and Tuesday (excluding public holidays) with effect from July 1, 2014. A valid handicap card is required to present upon registration. Please get ready your credit card number to complete reservation of your tee time.

The telephone system will lead you step-by-step through the booking process.  Based on the information you key-in, the system will find the closest available tee time for you.

A confirmation of your tee time is available by fax.  Just enter a local 8-digit fax number for this.

The telephone reservation system is open between 10 am and 10 pm daily.

Booking Rules

• Your PIN number is strictly confidential. Members are responsible for any tee times reserved using their PIN numbers. 
• Single players may not hold a tee time. They may only be teamed up with another group by calling the reservation system between 2pm & 10pm on the day before play. 
• A single player may never be left alone in a booking. For example, if one player in a 2-ball game cancels, the remaining player will be automatically cancelled as well.  This 2-ball slot will be released for other booking. Similarly, if three players in a 4-ball game cancel, the remaining player will be cancelled.  A single player may call the system between 2pm & 10pm the day before play to be placed in a game. 
• Two-ball games will automatically be paired with the first available other two-ball. 
• The system will log all no-shows. The Member who makes the booking is responsible for all no-shows in his group.  As specified in the Club Rules, Members who have 3 or more no-shows in groups booked by them within a 6 month period will not be allowed to reserve a tee time for a period of 3 months. 
• No guests may be booked on the weekends and holidays through the telephone system. This may only be done through Club management. 
• All players may appear in only one place on the tee sheet each day. The system will reject anyone attempting to make a reservation that is already in another tee time reservation on the same day. 
• Members are only allowed to reserve one tee time per membership per day. For example: A husband makes a reservation for himself and three other players. Under the circumstances, the system will not allow his wife to book another tee time on the same day.  However, it will allow her to be a player in another group reserved by another Member. 
• Only the person who made the reservation is allowed to cancel or change the tee time. Other players may only drop out of the group if they wish. 
• Juniors are not allowed to make tee time reservations; therefore, there is no PIN number for Juniors. A Member can book a Junior in a game by entering the booking number assigned for the Junior. 
• Weekday bookings can be made one week before the day of play.

• Every Tuesday & Wednesday  between 10:45 & 11:00AM is reserved for a dedicated break.  

• If holiday fall on weekday , between 10:45 & 11:00AM  is reserved for dedicated break.
• If holiday fall on Tuesday & Wednesday, between 10:45 & 11:00 AM; 12:45 & 1:00 PM is reserved for dedicated break.

Cancellation of Tee Times

Weekday Bookings
Notice must be received by 2:00 p.m. (through the telephone booking system) the day prior to play.

Weekend/Public Holiday Booking
If notice of cancellation is not received by 10:00 p.m. (through the telephone booking system) two days before play, a late cancellation or non-cancellation fee will be charged to the person responsible for reserving the tee time. * Booking made one day in advance may be cancelled (through the telephone booking system) up to 10:00 p.m. the day of booking.
